Who were the first prefessional musicians. ?

Hard to say, but it is NOT opera singers, since opera only goes back to 1600, and there were minstrels and organists before that. There have been professional musicians since pre-Christian times, so I would say "B", although the term "Minstrel" only goes back to the middle ages.
