I am hoping to reclaim my mortgage exit fee from 2002?

but i am not sure what to put in the letter. I have a template from a website which i am going to use but it does say to put what the charge was in my contract and what i was actually charged. I was charged �225 (in 2002) but i m not sure what my contract says. I have rang abbey who are no help at all so i was just thinking of asking for the �225 back. Has anyone else tried to do this with abbey national, any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks,xxxxx
