Why wont my car start back up?

Radiator and cooling fan were blown, replaced them so my car started up fine, stayed cool, i drove almost 1 mile from my house and it tugged like it was going to die, so i stopped & turned it off. when i went to restart it, it turned over and acted like it wanted to start but just wasnt catching it. not out of gas & everything else looks fine... any ideas? its notr running hot anymore and i dont know what else would be wrong? pleasee helpp! its a 2004 kia rio maunal tranny.
