To Religious people from an atheist: Why should we have faith?

For you who say that we should believe in your religion out of faith, because evidence is not necessary, I want to know why? Why should people believe in your religion, out of the hundreds of thousands of religions out there? Why should we believe in your god(s) out of the hundreds of thousands of gods out there? Why your particular sect or set of beliefs? All religions are based on faith...so what makes one superior to the other? What makes one religion or god(s) worth having faith in, but the others false? This is not a "troll" question, I honestly want to know the reasoning behind this. If all religions are based on faith, then I do not see what makes one superior to the others.
