Help me prove my friend wrong? ;)?

My friend , who is a major Apple fanboy , said that the iPad 2 was the fastest selling item in history. His evidence was that it sold over 3 million units in 2 months. I know that the iPad 2 was definetly not the fastest selling item , i think that the PS2 sold more. Can anyone tell me how many ps2 sold in 2 months or maybe any other thing ( preferably electronic ). thanks.
