Restraining order help!?

Okay, so my cousin and i are in the process of getting a restraining order on this one girl. She responded by answering the orders for the restraining order, and she submitted evidence.Because of this, when we showed up on our court date, the judge already made it seem like she was going to win. She did not appear because she got into a "car accident" two days before. However, I want to know if it were possible for us to respond to her response? It's unreal how dumb this sounds, I know, but the clerk at the courthouse said it was possible, and I'm tired of looking on google.
