How do I fix this zipper?

My underwear got caught in my zipper a couple minutes ago. I was trying to get it out and it just kept getting worse so I just tugged my underwear and pants in opposite directions really hard. My underwear isn't stuck anymore but now my zipper won't shut on these pants. I pull the slidey thing down and then back up but the metal parts don't attach to each other anymore. Is there any way to fix that?
