HAS ANYONE BEEN TO RAPTURE ON THE RIVER?

I'm going to NYC's pride this weekend, and want to know what its really like. I am native to Los Angeles and love (for the most part) TRUCKSTOP at the Abbey. I'm looking for a good dance party. Not one where most people stand around or wander about. Is it worth the $25 cover? Or the $75 open bar VIP ticket?
